Outer Banks Photography by Bob Cohen Master Photographer

Bob Cohen is an award-winning photographer. He was awarded his Master Photographer Degree from the Professional Photographers of America in 1990. It represents many years of exhibited photographs earning national awards and merits in photography. Many of his prints have been published in national and international publications.

Bob is a lifelong resident of Newport News, Virginia. He is a graduate of Richmond Professional Institute (Photography) (now known as Virginia Commonwealth University), Richmond, VA. His interest in photography began when he received a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye camera as a birthday present when he was a young boy.

Bob has worked through the years as a photographer with the military as well as Newport News Shipbuilding and Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He has traveled extensively but always keeps coming back to the Outer Banks. The beauty of the Outer Banks has so much to offer and it is a challenge to capture on film.
