Currituck Beach Lighthouse
located on the Outer Banks of NC
was the last lighthouse built half way between Cape Henry in
VA
to the north and Bodie Lighthouse in NC to the south. It was
completed in 1875 and stands 162' tall. Currituck Beach
Lighthouse can be seen for 19 nautical miles. The unpainted
red brick makes it distinct from others on the NC coast.
