Juniper Lighthouse, Juniper Florida.
The Lighthouse was completed and first lit on July 10, 1860.
It was captured during the civil war and not put back into service
until June 28, 1866. In 1973 it was placed on the National
Registrar of Historic places. The lighthouse was actually built on a
hill which was formally occupied by a Native American mound dating
back to 700AD.
