OBX Artic Encounter

This photo is a rare look of snow on the sands of the Outer Banks.  The snow storm of the century came to the Outer Banks on January 23, 2003 dumping 9" in Kitty Hawk and 13" at Cape Hatteras.  It was the largest recorded snowfall in one day.
