| Ft Monroe Lighthouse Over looking the entrance to the harbor
of Hampton Roads, Old Point Comfort Lighthouse is located at Ft
Monroe, VA. It is the second oldest lighthouse on the Chesapeake
Bay. Built in 1802, the lighthouse is a 54' octagonal stone tower.
It was briefly captured and used as a watchtower by British troops
during the war of 1812.
