Wind-Swept in Buxton Strong winds blow the snow
around the dunes in Buxton, NC after the snow storm of the
century came to the Outer Banks on January 23, 2003 dumping 9"
in Kitty Hawk and 13" at Cape Hatteras. It was the largest
recorded snowfall in one day.
